Full-mouth reconstruction is a comprehensive treatment plan that rebuilds both upper and lower dental arches using a custom combination of dental implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, and other restorations. Unlike single-tooth fixes or even All-on-X for one arch, reconstruction is designed for patients whose overall oral health requires multiple procedures working together as one plan.

This is the procedure for patients with significant tooth loss across both arches, severe wear and tear, bite problems, multiple failing crowns or bridges, advanced gum disease combined with structural damage, or patients who’ve received fragmented dentistry over years and want everything unified into a single coherent restoration.

At Advanced Implant Specialist, every reconstruction is custom-designed by Dr. Winfield using our complete digital workflow — CBCT 3D imaging, intraoral scans, digital smile design, photogrammetry-guided surgery, and in-house 3D printing. This integrated approach allows us to plan and execute complex cases that other practices refer out.

The result: one specialist, one cohesive plan, one beautiful outcome — instead of fragmented care across multiple providers.

The Solution

What Is Full-Mouth Reconstruction?

Where to Start?

A free 3D consultation determines the right combination of procedures.

What’s Included

Procedures Often Combined in a Reconstruction

Every plan is unique — but most full-mouth reconstructions involve a custom mix of these core procedures.

All-on-X Full Arch

Replaces an entire upper or lower arch with 4–6 implants supporting a fixed bridge of premium zirconia teeth.

When: Severe tooth loss in one or both arches

Single & Multiple Implants

Individual implants for isolated missing teeth — combined with other restorations for a complete plan.

When: Specific teeth missing, others healthy

Implant-Supported Bridges

Multi-tooth fixed bridges anchored on 2–3 implants — for patients missing consecutive teeth.

When: 3+ adjacent teeth need replacement

Premium Zirconia Crowns

Individual crowns crafted from medical-grade zirconia — replacing failing crowns or restoring damaged teeth.

When: Existing teeth need restoration

Porcelain Veneers

Thin shells of premium porcelain bonded to front teeth — for cosmetic harmony with restored teeth.

When: Aesthetic refinement needed

Bone Grafting & Gum Treatment

Foundational work that prepares the mouth for implant placement and ensures long-term restoration health.

When: Bone loss or gum disease present
Who It’s For

Is Full-Mouth Reconstruction Right for You??

Reconstruction is designed for patients whose oral health requires multiple procedures working together — not just a single fix. If you’ve received fragmented dentistry over the years, have multiple missing or failing teeth, or want everything unified into one plan, reconstruction may be your path forward.

Most patients told they need “a lot of work” are candidates for full-mouth reconstruction — and the free 3D consultation will determine the exact combination of procedures right for your case.

The Process

Your Reconstruction Journey

Every case follows the same proven framework — but every plan is custom-tailored to your specific combination of needs.

Phase 1 · Consultation

Diagnostic & Digital Smile Design

01

Comprehensive evaluation including 3D CBCT imaging, intraoral scans, photos, and bite analysis. Dr. Winfield reviews your medical history, listens to your goals, and identifies every procedure needed to deliver your final outcome.

Hour 1–4 · Surgical Phase

Custom Plan & Financial Review

02

Dr. Winfield presents your complete reconstruction plan with digital simulations of your future smile. Every procedure, every timeline, and every cost is transparent — no surprises, no hidden fees.

Phase 3 · Foundation Work

Extractions, Grafting & Preparation

03

If needed, failing teeth are extracted, bone grafting is performed, and gum disease is treated. This is the foundation that makes long-term success possible.

Phase 4 · Surgical

Implant Placement & Same-Day Teeth

04

Implants are placed using guided surgery technology under IV sedation. For most full-arch cases, you leave the same day with fixed temporary teeth.

Phase 5 · Healing

Osseointegration & Adjustments

05

Your implants fuse with the bone (typically 3–6 months). During this phase, you live normally with your fixed temporary smile while we monitor healing and make adjustments.

Phase 6 · Final Restoration

Premium Zirconia & Cosmetic Finalization

06

Your final premium zirconia restorations are placed — designed for decades of beauty, function, and durability. Cosmetic veneers or crowns on remaining teeth complete the unified smile.

Investment

Custom-Designed for Each Patient.

Full-mouth reconstruction cost varies significantly based on the combination of procedures needed. A patient with mostly healthy teeth needing a single arch of All-on-X has a very different plan than one requiring extensive grafting plus double-arch reconstruction.

Our pricing is always all-inclusive: 3D imaging, surgical procedures, prosthetics, IV sedation, and follow-up are bundled. 0% APR financing for qualified patients makes treatment accessible regardless of total cost.

Full-Mouth Reconstruction
FAQs

Everything you need to know about comprehensive dental restoration.

What is full-mouth reconstruction?
Full-mouth reconstruction is a comprehensive treatment that rebuilds both upper and lower dental arches using a custom combination of dental implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, and other restorations. It is designed for patients with significant tooth loss, severe wear, bite problems, or extensive damage requiring more than single-tooth fixes.
All-on-X replaces an entire arch with implants supporting a fixed bridge. Full-mouth reconstruction is broader — it may include All-on-X for one or both arches plus additional procedures like crowns, veneers, gum treatment, and bite correction. Reconstruction is customized to each patient’s specific combination of needs.
Treatment timelines vary based on case complexity. Simple cases can be completed in 3–6 months. Complex cases involving extensive grafting, multiple surgeries, and staged restorations may take 9–18 months. Same-day temporary teeth are available for most cases — so you have a functional smile throughout the process.
Full-mouth reconstruction typically ranges from $44,000 to $80,000+ depending on the combination of procedures, materials, and complexity. We provide transparent all-inclusive pricing and 0% APR financing for qualified patients. Pre-approval takes 60 seconds with no credit impact.
Most adults with significant dental damage, multiple missing teeth, severe wear, bite problems, or failing dentistry are candidates. The comprehensive consultation determines the best combination of procedures for your specific case. Even patients told they need “a lot of work” elsewhere are typically candidates.
With IV sedation during surgical phases, patients experience minimal to no discomfort. Most describe sleeping through it. Post-surgical soreness is managed with prescribed medication and typically resolves within a few days. We pace your reconstruction to minimize healing impact and maximize comfort throughout.
